About us NSSF was established in 1965 by an Act of Parliament i.e. CAP 258 Laws of Kenya. First contributions (from men only) were received in July 1966. Female employees first registered in January 1975 but started contributing in 1977.
The Nssf Act was amended in 1987, therby transforming the fund into a State Corporation under the management of a board of trustees.
BECOMING AN NSSF MEMBER In order to become an NSSF member, you will have to register with NSSF. Once your employer is registered with NSSF, he/she is also required to ensure that his/her regular workers register with NSSF.
